D.J. Davis
D.J. Davis, President of Spectrum Employee Services, is one of the founding board members of Manners of the Heart. He and his wife Paige, of twenty years, are happily married with three children: Sydney, Robert, and Sophie. DJ and his family reside in Baton Rouge and attend First Presbyterian Church. In addition to serving on the Board at Manners of the Heart, DJ stays busy as an Elder at his church, as well as serving as the Vice Chair at the University Lab School. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1987.
Karen Gaupp-Wozniak
Karen Gaupp-Wozniak, owner and President of Ink and Air Marketing, Advertising, PR & events, is a thirty-year marketing, advertising and public relations veteran. As past-president of the AAF-BR, and board member of over twenty professional and non-profit boards, she has dedicated both her professional and personal life to help guide young professionals in the advertising and public relations industry, and assist children and women at-risk. Through her firm and community service, Karen has assisted over 250 non-profit organizations in their goals of reaching and aiding children, teens and women in need. A native New Orleanian, she has been an LSU Tiger since 1975 with continuing education at Tulane and Harvard Universities. She is a self-professed avid reader, enthusiastic fisher woman, loves baking, wanna-be Julia Child, and has been dubbed the unofficial, "Cheesecake Queen."
Ty Gose, Chairman
Ty Gose, Broker for NAI Latter and Blum, played football at Wheaton College where he graduated in 2004. In addition to chairing the Manners of the Heart board, Ty serves on the boards of Baton Rouge Young Life and the Louisiana Chapter of CCIM, and is President for the Redstick Loft Homeowner's Association. Ty has a passion for inner-city kids and sports ministry and has volunteered as a mentor through the Heritage Ranch Life Skills program at Valley Park Alternative School. In his downtime, Ty enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Shawna.
Kevin Hambrice
With a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Louisiana State University, Kevin Hambrice works as the Director of Marketing for K-TEK Corporation. Kevin is a committed husband to his wife Stormy and father to their five children. His passions in life include his family, marketing, leadership training, and singing blue grass/southern gospel at every chance he gets.
Aimee Pourciau
Aimee Pourciau, works for Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLP, as an Audit Manager specializing in Non-Profits. Aimee graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Accountancy in the fall of 2002 and 2003. In September of 2009, Aimee completed the John W. Barton, Sr. 2009 Community Leadership Program. In addition to serving on the Manners of the Heart Board, Aimee is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Forum 35 where she does volunteer work at St. Vincent de Paul Shelter. Craig Winchell
Craig Winchell works as Assistant Director of the Student Support Services Program at LSU. It is a federally funded program that deals mainly with first generation, low income students and students with disabilities. He received his Masters of Education in Counseling from LSU and his Bachelor of Sciences from Campbell College in North Carolina. He coaches high school and club soccer and plays tennis in his spare time. He has been married for 30 years and is the father of two children.
Alex Pucheu
Jacque "Alex" Pucheu joined Adams and Reese in 2011 as Special Counsel in the firm's Baton Rouge office. He has been practicing law since 2004, practicing in public finance, banking, governmental relations and real estate law. In the legal community, Alex is a member of the Baton Rouge and Louisiana State Bar Associations, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and the Louisiana Society for Hospital Attorneys. In the Baton Rouge community, he is a member of Forum 35 and volunteers on various Church projects with The Chapel on the Campus, as well as serving on the Board of Manners of the Heart. In his spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, playing golf or any other sport.
