VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunities in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

1. Join our Cookie Ladies by baking cookies in the Manners of the Heart office
2. Wrap and package cookies for distribution
3. Teach manners lessons to children through YMCA summer camps
4. Teach Manners of the Heart lessons in a local elementary school
5. Cook dinner for children attending our Manners of the Heart etiquette class
6. Motivate high school students through our Leaders by Example program
7. Prepare craft materials for children’s lessons
8. Participate in elementary school assemblies 
9. Assemble keepsakes for participants in our programs
10. Become a member of Wilbur’s Team and serve part-time as available

Opportunities outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana

1. Organize a Manners of the Heart event for your area. (contact our office for a packet on how to do this)
2. Teach Manners of the Heart lessons in your child’s classroom.
3. Involve local service organizations (Kiwanis, Rotary, Junior League, Junior Auxiliary, PTA, PTO, Parents’ Guild, etc.) in sponsoring Manners of the Heart programs for your community. (contact our office for a packet on how to do this)
4. Introduce Manners of the Heart to administrators in your local schools. (contact our office for a packet on how to do this)
5. Work with a sponsor to distribute books in your community.
