morals, values, and character.

Families and children under twelve, but enjoyable by all ages:

  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Disney 1938) animation/family rating = G
  • Bambi (Disney 1942) animation/family rating = PG (a scary forest fire; deer's mother dies)
  • The Incredibles (Disney 2004) action/animation rating = PG (some action and violent scenes)
  • Babe (Universal Pictures 1995) family fantasy rating = G
  • Charlotte's Web (Walden Media 2006) family fantasy rating = G

Families and children over thirteen years old:

  • The Ultimate Gift (Twentieth Century Fox 2007) rating = PG
  • Cast Away (DreamWorks 2000) action rating = PG-13 (action and some disturbing images)
