FOR SCHOOLS
“To open the mind, you must
unlock the heart”
—Wise

Can you imagine how different our classrooms would
be if every child had self-respect and showed respect
for others? Wouldn’t you enjoy an environment
in which young people gave unselfishly? The good news
is that developing this kind of self-giving respect
is possible—yet it cannot be memorized from
a set of rules.
In a recent Public Agenda survey, 80% of students,
teachers and the general public deemed the teaching
of values like respect and hard work in schools as “absolutely
essential.” In addition, both parents and teachers
say that “raising a well-behaved child who
wants to learn is the most important role a parent
can fulfill.” Manners of the Heart helps parents
and teachers collaborate on these important issues
through our curricula, student
trainings, and teacher and parent
seminars. Our programs are founded on the belief
that educating our children must begin with setting
their hearts in the right direction through respect
for others and will transform the learning environment
of your classroom.
