MANNERS, MORALS & MOTIVATION

Manners, Morals, and Motivation is the name of our 2-hour training for junior high students, from fourth through eighth grade. Through this training, our certified Manners of the Heart trainer presents hands-on activities to teach the importance of manners, morals, and motivation for junior high, high school and beyond.

Manners, Morals, and Motivation includes PowerPoint and discussion on the following:

1). Manners- The importance of Self-Givingness

A. The definition of manners
B. WHY practice manners?
C. Respecting authority
D. CHOOSING to be a lady/gentleman
E. Teamwork, "please, thank you", The Golden Rule
F. The basic rules of etiquette with application activities

2). Morals- The importance of Self-Respect

A. The outward expression of the inward condition of the heart
B. How is your self-respect? The SR Quotient.
C. Activities on self-respect
D. When it comes to Mom... Asking permission, not telling plans
E. Stories of experience from college girls and boys

3). Motivation- The importance of Self-Discipline

A. Being the best you can be
B. Striving toward being THE BEST, not just NUMBER ONE
C. Developing HUMBLE CONFIDENCE
D. Academic motivation
E. Motivation through high school and beyond
